Entry #9: Food Labels
Today, it is easy to see that all types of food items are labeled with fresh, clean labels, 100% natural and without GMO technology etc. But are they true?
I chose the picture above because I think it would be interesting to know the truth about the labels on the packaging and whether they are true or not.
I believe that everyone has at least once selected the product based solely on the label of the package without paying attention to the ingredients inside the food. Sometimes the advertising on the packaging is not true. For example, if you are concerned about calories and carbs (maybe because you have diabetes or are trying to prevent it), you may not add sugar in your grocery cart. But do you know that many foods naturally contain sugar. While these products may not contain added sugars, they may contain natural sugars. And no sugar added products still may contain added ingredients like maltodextrin, and carbohydrate.
These labels can confuse you and make the wrong choice if you really do not understand it. In addition, the manufacturers also hit the psychological attractiveness of consumers by using eye-catching labels and "exactly what you are looking for" of the user, but in fact, they are not.
We really need to be careful when choosing foods with eye-catching packaging. So, what do you think?

Food labels are very tricky some times it says its healthy for you but when you ask about it to friends and family there really not and you feel you put a whole bunch of unhealthy things in your body.
